Where this started
Shane got into search from the hosting side. In 1997 he was running sales and marketing for a colocation and web hosting company, and the customers who signed up kept asking the same question: now that the site is up, how do people find it? Answering that question became the job. He started doing SEO for hosting clients in 2000, co-founded a new hosting company shortly after the one he worked for was acquired, and in 2012 opened his first Google Ads account for a client who needed leads faster than organic could deliver. He has run paid search every day since.
Most of those early clients had a website and nothing else. No landing pages built to convert, no listings, no tracking, no content. Often the site itself needed rebuilding around a page that actually turned a visitor into a call. We built all of it, and some of those businesses are still clients today. A few of them are in the case studies.
Who we have done this for
The range is wide on purpose. Local service businesses on modest budgets. Dealership groups with multiple rooftops across brands like Jaguar, Ford and Hyundai. Home services companies: HVAC, solar, plumbing, roofing. Retail and e-commerce. A personal injury firm whose Google Ads budget grew to multiple six figures a month across three markets and stayed with Shane for eight years. Franchise systems with hundreds of locations under one account structure. Enterprise accounts in legal, industrial and SaaS, managed while Shane was a senior strategist inside a national agency.
Every one of those accounts needed the same things underneath: campaigns built to target exactly what the client wanted more of, a structure that matches how people actually search, landing pages built to convert, call and form tracking that feeds clean data back to the bidding, and content and citations that give the business a foundation search engines trust. Budgets change. The stack does not. We know how to build it, scale it and keep it profitable, because we have done it at every size.
What has changed is how much of it we can now see and act on at once. AI runs across every one of those layers today: agents watching the account, the competitors and the market, models doing the research and the drafting, and a strategist with twenty years of judgment deciding what actually ships. Same stack, far more eyes on it.
