PPC & Co charges a one-time onboarding fee plus a monthly management fee of 15 percent of the first $25,000 in ad spend, 10 percent of the next $75,000, and 7.5 percent above $100,000, with a $1,000 monthly minimum. Each rate applies only to the spend inside its tier, like tax brackets, so the fee never jumps when your budget crosses a line. Everything is month to month, ad spend is paid by you directly to the platforms, and you own every account. We work with businesses spending $3,000 a month and up. SEO, AI search visibility, landing page programs and franchise systems are quoted per client after a call.
Paid search management
| Tier of monthly ad spend | Rate on that tier | Fee at the top of the tier |
|---|---|---|
| First $25,000 | 15%, $1,000 minimum | $3,750 |
| Next $75,000 (to $100,000) | 10% | $11,250 |
| Above $100,000 | 7.5% | $15,000 at $150,000 |
Examples: $5,000 in spend is $1,000 a month (the minimum). $20,000 is $3,000. $50,000 is $6,250. $100,000 is $11,250. $150,000 is $15,000. Accounts above $150,000 a month and franchise systems get a written scope and proposal, priced on markets, platforms, tracking and production rather than spend alone. The billing base is the Google and Microsoft spend we manage; Local Services Ads and channels we do not run are excluded.
Onboarding fee: one time, $750 to $2,500 for most accounts, depending on how much the account needs before launch. Covers the audit, the restructure or rebuild, conversion tracking setup (GA4, Tag Manager, enhanced conversions, call tracking), and the first landing pages. Tracking is usually the part that decides where in that range an account lands: a clean account with working conversions sits at the low end; an account with tracking to rebuild from scratch sits at the high end. Multi-location systems and accounts that need offline conversion imports are quoted. The exact figure is in your proposal.
Included in management: the account reviewed every business day by a senior strategist, with changes made when the evidence supports them; weekly written updates; a monthly report and review call; live dashboards; landing pages for every campaign theme, built and revised by us; ad and asset refreshes; Microsoft Ads built from the Google structure and managed as its own account; and Local Services Ads management for the first 90 days, then $250 per profile per month.
Not included: ad spend (paid by you, on your card, to Google and Microsoft), call tracking software subscription (typically $50 to $200 a month, paid directly), and social media platforms, which we route to specialist partners.
Why a percentage instead of a flat fee
A flat fee is fine at one budget and wrong at every other. A percentage keeps the fee proportional to the work, and the tiered scale means the fee doesn't punish you for growing: every dollar above $25,000 is charged at a lower rate than the dollars below it. The usual objection is that a percentage rewards the agency for spending more. Two answers: the percentage drops as spend rises, so scaling spend lowers our rate, and you approve every budget change in writing. We don't move budgets without you.
SEO, AI search visibility, content
Quoted per client. Scope depends on the size of the site, the competitiveness of the market and how much off-site work is needed. Engagements are quoted monthly, with six months recommended but not required. An SEO or AI visibility audit is free with a paid search engagement, and quoted on its own otherwise. SEO services, AI search visibility.
Landing pages & CRO
Included with paid search management. Standalone pages and programs are quoted after a short call. Landing page design.
Franchise & multi-location systems
A one-time build fee for the template and pilot markets, then per-location management on a sliding scale by system size, plus a media percentage on corporate-funded spend, set in the proposal. Franchise marketing.
Reporting & AI tools
Client dashboards are included in every engagement. Agencies and businesses wanting their own white-label reporting or custom AI tooling: see Reporting and AI tools.
What's the minimum?
We work with businesses spending $3,000 a month and up. A hundred dollars a day is enough to start a Search account properly, learn what converts and earn the budget increase; below that the data comes too slowly and the fee becomes too large a share of the budget to get you a fair result, and we would rather say so than take the account and under-serve it. The management fee has a $1,000 monthly minimum, which applies until spend passes about $6,700. If you're below the line, we'll point you to what to do yourself.
